My computer has died.  The system fan wore out and it will be several days until Ican get a replacement and get it installed.  Dennis will help keep an eye on the place and my son has loaned me his tablet so I don't have to go thru internet withdrawal.

Yeah, they do that after a few years.  I've replaced many fans over the years.  They are actually really easy to replace (on desktop computers - laptops are a different story) if you have the right screwdriver to remove the housing/casing for the computer.

My son has much experience, made a few computers from the  motherboard on up. I have a hp lap top or it's a notebook. Don't know what the difference is.  If it is un repairable, I will be getting a new one next month. Just wiped out financially  this month. Having to replace the fridge, water heater  and garbage  disposal on top of old man in hospital 2 months and Christmas, AAAARGH!!!!

Oh well,  can't stay bad, things have to get better sometime.
