Well, the board now has a new home. No longer is it tied to any single entity - the database is free to move anywhere at anytime.

This doesn't come without some issues and changes, however.

1) The layout is different than the old IF board. I believe many of the UI elements are superior (such as not automatically removing new post icon status in boards you haven't viewed recently). It shouldn't take long to adjust.

2) No attachments were transferred.

3) Markup on the old board was horrible. Really, a 'span' bbcode tag? More importantly, many people have not been paying attention to tag open/close order. If you see a "[/size]" sticking out in a post, it's because it wasn't closed in the proper order. The new board is very strict about bbcode syntax. Make sure your tags are nested properly.

4) All old threads will show as unread until you read them or mark them as read.

We'll continue working to improve the theme and the content of the forums. Please bear with us.

Thank you so much for all your help ca.  I could not have done it with out you!  <3 Wink
There is still a lot of clean up ahead.  I will be reorganizing and condensing several forums.  The old site will still be available but only as a "read-only" archive.  The same stuff is here, just in different places.  I have been wanting to do this move for a long time but there have been so many barriers along the way.  Now with the media finally reporting the TRUTH about VNS we need a more organized and professional looking board.  I am open to suggestions.

Get me an archive of smileys and the tags that were used with them and I'll bulk add them to the board.
