Has anyone done this? I have the vns. If I ever needed to be resuscitated I would want to be sure the EMS/emergency room  staff  is aware I have vns. What about a tatoo? it could say what ever you want. I would want to place mine above my implant site. ' caution electrical implant"  or whatever. Any ideas? Undecided

That's a good idea...it would be great if we could be assured Fire and Medics would look at a bracelet.

Take care!

EMS and ER services has never even bothered to look for or at my medical necklace.
But if you are like me and had the VNS removed, then you left with erroneous information and one UGLY tattoo!

Birdbomb!! Wow, hmmm. If I had my vns removed I would have my tatoo covered over. My tat is on my chest and it is not out there were the public sees it and would ask questions. My vns is not a perfect answer to my sz's, but I can always have it turned off and left in. Be good to yourself. Grin

That hideous thing is not my tat! ROFLMAO  Here's mine, but it's still a work in progress.  It's in memory of my best friend who died in his sleep last year.  We are big sushi fans and were suppose to go out for lunch at one of our favorite haunts the day he died.  I've just had too many medical issues to get any more work on it.
But I say one thing, this tattoo gets NOTICED, I guess because of the subject matter.  You don't see sushi tats very often. Wink

I have another one on my chest.  Got it back in 1985, before it became popular. It's my own design but has faded and needs to be redone.

There are some people who do tattoo their medical information and I guess it works out fine for them.  I think if I did that it would become a full body work!  LOL

I kinda cringed when I saw the pics of my VNS removal scars on KXAN with the tacky tattoo.  LOL!

I have a tatoo also. Just a leopard on my left upper chest I've had it for over 25 years When I first got it the orange in the leopard was so bright I thought it was going to glow in the dark, but it has calmed down alot and looks like just a normal leopard now..
